Our first Impact Spotlight features Liverpool FC International Academy Massachusetts Director of Marketing - Jessie Davis.

Davis has a soccer filled resume including playing professionally across the globe. She shares she “learned that to play professionally, you really need to love the game. There is a lot of sacrifice that comes along with this lifestyle, and I’ve had moments when I wonder, “is this worth it?” When I am biking through a European city with the sun setting after a great team win, I am always reminded that the hard is what makes it so special. I’d do it all again.” Her favorite motto: “Do all you can with what you have in the time you’ve got in the place you are.” She is explains, “This is so important to me because every day is an opportunity to get the most you can out of your own experience. Even if things seem bad on a certain day, you are in control of how you react. When you start looking for the bright side, you’ll often find it.” Her advice to Impact players "is to keep an open mind, and dream big. I never could have imagined that soccer would bring me to places like Denmark, Ghana and Australia, but I just kept saying yes to new experiences.
